The One Mysterious Night

I have to say this one is pretty decent, especially in the dry down. Though I never added it to my collection I still like it. Maybe one day I will pull the trigger. This version of the One is one of those fragrances either you like it or hate it. If you're not into rose-oud scents then this is definitely not for you. In the opening I got that blast of saffron, rose and oud. As it starts to dry down I got some clary sage followed by the amber and woody notes. Once it fully dried down I did get the tonka bean but that oud was still there with the rose taking the back seat. Performance is pretty decent as I got about 8 to 9 hours on my skin with a couple of hours of projection. 👌🏼

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 by 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗰𝗲&𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮 is a Oriental Spicy fragrance and was launched in 2018.

Top notes are Saffron and Grapefruit. Middle notes are Rose, Agarwood (Oud) and Clary Sage. Base notes are Amber, Precious Woods, Labdanum and Tonka bean.

I received this as my 1ml Complimentary vial when I chose "Men's Floral" & wow! What a masterpiece of a fragrance. I should state that I'm not super into Oud fragrances (though I also haven't had my nose on many of them) but this one is so high class, it honestly feels like it could be from a Niche house. It has some of that DNA that you'd expect from D&G The One, but has some delectable Rose & inoffensive Oud added in there, making it this incredibly well rounded scent that would make you feel like Middle Eastern royalty when you wear it. I would easily put this in my Top 5 favourite fragrances, period. I also truly feel it should be saved for very special occasions, but when you wear it, you will turn heads. Like, every head around you (and only in the best ways).
