Yeah this new release by IM is a keeper! Obviously this was a blind buy because the department stores here in Canada are 10 years behind. I'm never afraid to blind buy from this house! The majority of their fragrances are awesome! I've have yet to smell a bad IM! This is IM's first Oud fragrance! It's not a strong Oud, but it's definitely there. The Oud comes out during and after the dry down followed by the amber, vanilla and leather. The opening is spicy and woody with the patchouli and cedar. It's not to sweet which I like. IMO this is a mature fragrance for casual settings or a night on the town during the fall and cold winter seasons. Performance is very decent! I got 10 hours + on my skin with 3 hours + of projection. 👌🏼
Nuit d'Issey Polaris by Issey Miyake is a Oriental Woody fragrance and was launched in 2020.
Top notes are Black pepper, Cypress and Bergamot. Middle notes are Agarwood (oud), Patchouli and Cedar. Base notes are Leather, Vanilla, Gurjan balsam, Labdanum and Amber.
